"Spring Style: The Top 20 Wearable Trends for 2024"

Are you ready to refresh your spring wardrobe? The weather is starting to warm up so it's the perfect time to shop your closet and rotate in some of your lightweight pieces. Or maybe you've been itching to hit the stores and add a few new items. Either way I've got you covered with 20 style trends for the season. As always I recommend selecting a few of your favorites rather than trying to incorporate all 20 of these into your wardrobe. Since there's so much to go over, let's not waste any time and jump right in.

  1. Fitted Jackets/Blazers. The last few years we've seen oversized blazers dominate the trends. This season we're seeing the return of a more fitted silhouette.

  2. A-line. You'll find this figure flattering style in both dresses and skirts this spring.

  3. Spring Knits. Sweaters for spring? You bet! Just look for lightweight fabrics perfect for the warmer weather. Another great option is a sweater dress or knit polo.

  4. Cargos. We saw cargos trending last season and they're still in style so there's no need to put them away just yet. Whether you choose denim or another fabric, continue wearing your cargo pants all spring long.

  5. Short Suits. Love a suit but want something more practical for warmer weather? Why not try a suit that substitutes shorts for pants. It's a fun, casual look. And the best part? You can always wear the pieces separately for more versatility.

  6. Olympic "Metals". We're seeing inspiration from this year's Olympic Games everywhere this spring. Sport your favorite finish in gold, silver, or bronze!

  7. Texture. Looking for a way to add interest to your outfit? Textured pieces are the perfect way to be on trend this season. Texture is a great way to create visual interest in a monochromatic look.

  8. Wide-Leg. Looser and more relaxed fit pants continue to dominate the trend cycle. Comfy and stylish? Sounds perfect to me! Choose full length or cropped in your choice of material.

  9. Preppy. This is another trend that we've seen in recent seasons. If you like the preppy aesthetic this is your time to shine.

  10. Drop Waist Dresses. Not a fan of fitted or belted waistlines? This style is perfect if you like a more flowy and loose fit around your midsection. Plus a breezy dress is always perfect for spring.

  11. Perfectly Cut Trousers. Whether you dress them up with a silk blouse and heels or dress them down with a t-shirt and sneakers, this style is both relaxed and classic at the same time.

  12. Voluminous Sleeves. This trend is the perfect style for the ladies with a "d" body shape. Adding volume at the shoulders and bringing attention upward creates balance for those with larger hips.

  13. Jumpsuits. Love a one and done look? A jumpsuit is the perfect alternative to a dress for all your spring events.

  14. Elevated Sportswear. From shoes to clothes we've seen comfort become more of a priority in closets since the Covid-19 pandemic. This trend allows you to be both comfortable and stylish.

  15. Latte Dressing. Do you love a monochromatic look? Choose shades of brown, tan, or beige for an on-trend head to toe look. Make sure to check your color swatches to select your perfect shade.

  16. Halter Neck. The perfect neckline for warmer weather or when you're ready to bare your shoulders.

  17. Extraordinary Everyday. Everyday pieces like a white button down, trench coat, or denim jacket are made extraordinary with special details like fringe, lace, ruffles, or any other kind of interesting feature.

  18. Knotted Up. Too warm to wear a second layer but too chilly to leave it at home? How about tying up a crew neck or button down sweater over your shoulders. You'll be right on trend!

  19. Spring Bomber Jacket. For a modern take on this classic style choose a lighter weight fabric like satin, choose softer colors like a pastel blue or purple, or opt for a fun print.

  20. Capris. Trends really do operate on a cycle. Just when you think you'll never see a style again here it comes back around. Love them or hate them, it's time to bring out those capri pants you stashed away a few years ago.

Another fun way to incorporate these trends is to combine a few styles into one piece. Such as these metallic cargos, a halter neck jumpsuit or an A-line dress with voluminous sleeves.

Whether you're headed to the mall, a local boutique, a big box store, or a local discount store you're bound to see these trends when you're shopping this season. Plus, there's a good chance you might find quite a few of these in your closet.

Which ones will you be adding to your spring wardrobe?
